A distinctive antique Edwardian Suffragette brooch featuring three over lapping chain droppers decorated with Pearls, Amethysts and a central Peridot.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.
The piece is a wonderfully unique design all set in 15ct Yellow Gold.
